Synopsis

This is a technical Tutorial, made up of lecture and hands-on lab work to teach the IXP Design and Related Technologies.


Target audience

Technical staff who are now an participant of an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) or intending to participate an IXP or Operating ISP Core Networks.


Prerequisites

  • It is assumed that the Tutorial participants have a working knowledge of an OSPF/IS-IS and BGP fundamentals, along with know how to use a router command line interface.
  • This Tutorial is not an introduction. The lab exercises use Cisco, Mikrotik and Juniper IOS configuration syntax. Participant shall choose prefer IOS.
